Training and talks
I have provided professional training in exhibit design and development (both mechanical and digital exhibits), prototyping, evaluation and the maintenance of exhibits. I have also been requested as an expert speaker on the subjects of designing for an early years audience, visitor engagement more generally and trends in exhibit technology, including for the Group for Education in Museums (GEM), the UCL Qatar, Museum & Heritage Show, and Trends in Leisure and Entertainment (TiLE).

Mishkat Centre for Atomic and Renewable Energy, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I mentored and gave training in exhibit and content development to staff as well as helping recruit and train their maintenance team.
I gave professional training to the management team at The Postal Museum, London.
I gave a week long course as a visiting lecturer in exhibit prototyping at UCL Doha, Qatar.
I gave a talk at Excite on the use of RFID, NFC, Bluetooth and other mobile technologies within exhibitions to tag exhibits and to extend the visitor experience. I spoke to many institutions in my research on the topic to work out what works and what doesn't and to establish how well these technologies live up to their promise.

I was invited to speak at the 'Museums at Play' conference organised by GEM (Group for Education in Museums). I also gave a talk in 'Engaging and Empowering Young Children' at another of the Excite conferences.
KCA London gave professional training to the Esplora science centre management team in Malta. I was responsible for training them in exhibit design and development, audience engagement, prototyping and evaluation.
